When and why did you start training for fighting? Through opportunities that good people gave me in Rio Grande do Sul. Over time, I saw that this could change my life.
What ranks and titles have you held? I have a ton of Muay Thai fights and I've been competing to improve my jiu jitsu.
Do you have any heroes? My heroes are my everyday people with their daily wars: my teachers, my training colleagues, family, friends, myself…
What would it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It is, first of all, a personal satisfaction to know that I went through several things and still nothing stopped me. It's being an example for my brothers, being able to show that every opportunity I received I could honor. It's looking forward to yourself and knowing that you are among the best, if not the best, one day.
What was your job before you started fighting? Before, and even now, I'm a barber. Before, I worked in a beauty salon; now I prioritize training, but I don't stop cutting because it's not just work.
