EA SPORTS UFC 5 CONTENT UPDATE | March 2024

Check Out The Latest News And Updates For UFC 5, As Real As It Gets

The upcoming content update for EA Sports UFC 5 highlights the history of Strikeforce with an all-new Alter Ego bundle. Marking his second UFC 5 Alter Ego appearance, Alistair Overeem will be included in the update, but this time from his infamous 2011 fight against Fabricio Werdum. In the main event, Overeem outclassed Werdum in a dominant performance over three rounds, successfully avenging his 2006 loss. Before capturing UFC middleweight gold, Luke Rockhold would defend his Strikeforce middleweight title in 2012 against Tim Kennedy. Rockhold controlled the bout for five rounds, picking up a unanimous decision victory. Also in 2012, another future UFC champion and superstar, Ronda Rousey, would enter her final Strikeforce bout versus Sarah Kaufman. Rousey finished the fight in under 60 seconds, submitting Kaufman via armbar. To celebrate these fighters’ Strikeforce legacies, EA Sports has made them available to play with in UFC 5 now.
