The Ultimate Fighter is set for the premier of its 32nd season on June 4, and the iconic series returns with another entertaining pair of coaches as well as the most international roster of fighters to date. This season, women’s flyweight rivals face-off before their eventual grudge match as champion Alexa Grasso and former flyweight queen Valentina Shevchenko take the reigns.

The rivalry began when Grasso shocked the MMA world and submitted Shevchenko at UFC 285 in March 2023, ending Shevchenko’s long reign as the champion. When the two squared off for a rematch at Noche UFC in September 2023, they battled back-and-forth to what the judges saw as a split draw. While the two hold plenty of respect for one another, the tension will only build throughout a seasons of coaching against one another.
